Dr. Zaid Al-Bataineh is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Yarmouk University, Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University in 2014. He specializes in signal processing, wireless communication, and VLSI design, and has contributed significantly to research on Massive MIMO, 5G technologies, and energy-efficient communication techniques.
With extensive academic and industrial experience, Dr. Al-Bataineh has held roles such as Vice Dean of the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology and Head of the Electronics Engineering Department at Yarmouk University. He has been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University and has played a pivotal role in securing ABET accreditation for various programs.
Dr. Al-Bataineh’s work includes publishing over 45 high-impact journal papers, supervising M.S. theses, and leading advanced research projects in wireless communication and machine learning. He has also led initiatives for curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaborations to elevate academic standards and strengthen international ties.
