Dr. Sumaya Abuloha is an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice-Yarmouk University (YU), Irbid, Jordan. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Jordan (JU). After which, she joined the faculty staff at JU, where she had extended experience in lecturing and clinical training. Later, she moved to the US and joined the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida (UF) where she pursued her PhD. in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy (POP). During her PhD, she received advanced training in statistical methods, health technology assessment (HTA) and pharmacoeconomic modeling, pharmacoepidemiology and study design, data analysis, health economic policy, and academic and grant writing. Dr. Abuloha's research focuses on Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research. She is actively involved in research projects related to pharmaceuticals pricing and spending, cost-effectiveness analysis and reimbursement, health services, and quality improvement. She presented her work at prestigious conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Abuloha joined the faculty staff at YU in fall 2025.
