I wholeheartedly hope to be part of the education process that impacts human knowledge and skills. I do my best to be more creative, finding many interesting different ways to make scientific information attractive, easy to learn, and practiced.

 

 

Dr. SHARIEF ABDEL-RAZEQ (Member, IEEE) was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1985. He received the B.Sc. degree in communications and software engineering from Al-Balqa’ Applied University, Jordan, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering/wireless communications from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering/wireless communications from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, USA, in 2018. Since then, he has been with the Telecommunications Engineering Department, Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan, where he is currently an Associate Professor. Furthermore, he has been working as the Department’s Head, since 2019. He was chosen as one of five talented students from Jordan to participate in the ‘‘Intel Engineering Excellence Program’’ which was held in Egypt, in Summer 2008. He is currently the advisor IEEE ComSoc Advisor – Yarmouk University Branch and IEEE Jordan Joint ComSoc/SPS Chapter Treasurer. His research interests include non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), wireless communications of the 5G and beyond 5G (B5G) networks, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
