Prof. Mohannad Eid AbuRuz is a distinguished academic and researcher in Critical Cardiovascular Nursing. He currently serves as a Professor at Yarmouk University in Jordan and Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Heath Sciences in Dubai, UAE. Prof AbuRuz has held leadership roles as Vice Dean and Chairman of Nursing at Applied Science Private University in Jordan. Prof. AbuRuz earned his PhD from the University of Kentucky, USA in 2006 in the subspecialty of Critical Cardiovascular Nursing. His extensive research, comprising over 100 peer-reviewed publications, focuses on the psychological predictors of cardiac outcomes, including the impact of anxiety and depression, and perceived control on patient recovery. The three most common populations of his research are: acute myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery and heart failure. Recognized globally, he has been ranked among the top 2% of world scientists by Stanford University. He also contributes to the field as an academic editor for the Journal of Nursing Management. Moreover, he is an adjunct professor at Binawan university, Jakarta Indonesia and an honorary professor at queen university of Belfast, UK.
