Dr. Laila M. Matalqah is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Yarmouk University, Jordan. She holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, focusing on medication adherence in atrial fibrillation patients. Dr. Matalqah has a robust academic background, including a Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy and a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Her career spans several roles, including Assistant Professor and part-time lecturer at various institutions, as well as clinical pharmacist positions. She has held leadership roles, such as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and serves on editorial boards and committees. Dr. Matalqah's research interests include pharmacotherapy and patient quality of life, with numerous publications in reputable journals. She is active in community service and has contributed significantly to academic conferences and workshops. Fluent in Arabic and English, she also speaks intermediate Malay.
