Dr. Ihssan S. Masad received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, USA, in 2011. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, before joining the Department of Biomedical Systems and Informatics Engineering at Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan in 2014. His current research interests include the utilization of Magnetic Resonance Imaging to study the skeletal muscle architecture and structure under different conditions.​
