Dr. Hamed Al-Awidi is a Curriculum & Instruction, elementary education, and instructional technology professor at Yarmouk University in Jordan. He received his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in elementary education from Jordan University. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of North Texas, USA, majoring in Curriculum & Instruction/Instructional Technology. During his academic career at different universities, including the Arab Open University, Kuwait University, United Arab Emirates University, and Yarmouk University in Jordan, he has taught a wide range of courses in teacher education and educational technology. He served as the development and training department chair at Yarmouk University's Quality and Academic Development Center (2012-2014). Dr. Al-Awidi's scholarship focuses on preservice elementary teacher preparation, curriculum planning and development, technology integration in teaching and learning, teaching and learning strategies in elementary schools, e-learning, and digital professional development for elementary school teachers.
