About Me  Prof. Hussein Alzoubi received a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and is currently a professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, Yarmouk University, Jordan, with an administrative experience as the vice dean and department's chair; as well as a long teaching and research experiences at various programs and universities. His research focuses on machine learning and pattern recognition. He has many well-cited papers published in refereed international journals and conferences. He has been teaching several graduate and undergraduate courses and supervising a large number of graduate students. He has been selected to the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor Recognition Program. He has been a reviewer for an elite collection of journals including the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI). He has served in assorted committees. He is a senior member of IEEE.
