A lecturer at Yarmouk University Faculty of Art/Department of Semitic and Oriental Languages/Hebrew with advanced Knowledge of Hebrew Language and Literature. Also; a theoretical and practical experience in teaching in English, Hebrew, and Arabic languages, teaching the Hebrew literature and its linguistics, its history as well as the related religion .

Lecturer

·         Teaches Hebrew in three languages, teaches the history of Hebrew language and the history of its literature.
·         An advisor for the new undergrad students.
·         Helps the department in solving students’ issues, and helps the departments with some paper work.
 
September 2004-2005

Teaching Assistant

  • Responsibilities including Helping professors preparing for lectures to address different details that the student would be interested in to avoid routine style of classes teaching.
  •  Cover the class material with the professors to determine the appropriate material for the students to be given in order to match the different students levels and backgrounds.
  •   Helping students by opening a tutorial session on regular basis to discuss and answer for the suggested questions and ideas so that the students get with more understanding of the material that they had have been taught by Professors.
  • Grading the student’s home works and reports and directing them through their researches.
  • Teaching regular classes at the department as of compensation in case of the professors absence. 
 
 

Research Assistant:

  • Organizing the Scientific research  activities for the  department of Semitic and Oriental Languages/Hebrew , through preparing the seminars presentation material and present it as well as drive the discussions that have been brought by different attendances in the field
  • Working along with the professors searching and sharing knowledge in order to end up with decent results and publications as well.

The Arab- Israeli Conflict
  • The Origin of the Second Arab-Israeli War “Michael B. Oren” :
This book describes the main causes of the war of 1956, starting from the tension on the borders, and the blockade. And it talks about the international involvement in this war. It uses simple language, and different sources, which help in covering the details in way make the readers understand the story.
 
 
  • Whitehall and The Suez Crisis “Saul Kelly and Anthony Gorst”:
This book discusses the role of the British government in the Suez crisis which has been described as the ‘greatest political crisis of the 1950s’, because its importance to Great Britain and for the other countries. The writer presents the contents of this book in diplomatic, metaphorical language, which makes it sometimes unclear and ambiguous.
 
 
 
 
  • Suez “ Keith Kyle” :
It discusses the events that happened in 1956 but in historical perspective. And discuss a lot of the international order and relations between states. As well as using simple language.
 
 
  • Righteous Victims “ Benny Morris”:         
The book focuses on the central components of the Arab-Israeli conflict in the political and military spheres. Besides talking about the internal politics of the societies in the Middle East, he uses a secondary sources, and understandable language.
 
 
  • Diary of the Sinai Campaign 1956 “General Dayan”:
This book talks about 1955-1957, covered the military items and the political context in which way those items were set, and represents the events from Dayan’s personal perspective. Some sections of this book are eliminated, some shortened and others are expanded.
