I received the B.S. degree in computer science with minor in math from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 1991, the M.S. degree in computer science from National University of Malaysia, Malaysia in 1995, with an award of scholarship from the Malaysian government, and the Ph.D. in computer science from National University of Malaysia, Malaysia in 2001.

From 1997 to 2000, I worked as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, National University of Malaysia. From 2000 to 2001 I worked as Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department, Management University of Malaysia. I was appointed as assistant professor in the department of Computer Science, Philadelphia University, Jordan in 2001.

Then form 2002 to 2009 I worked as assistant professor at the dept. of Computer Science at Bahrain University. From 2009 till now I am at Yarmouk University, Jordan working as assistant professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems and also had been the Head of the dept. for the 2011 academic year.

My current research interests include information and Web retrieval, Web Usability and multimedia software design.
