Dr. Abu-Hummour is an associate Professor of Public Administration in Business College of at Yarmouk University (YU), Irbid, Jordan. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Jordan., one of the oldest Universities in Jordan. She is a cultural exchange program partner/ International faculty fellow at Northeastern Illinois University (USA) 2021 to 2024, Lone Star College –Texas (USA) 2024 to present, and Shenandoah University, Virginia (USA) 2024 to present. She obtained her master’s in Public Administration from Yarmouk University and her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University, MS, USA. She financed her graduate education entirely through scholarships. She had been inducted into three academic honor societies- Chi Alpha Epsilon to honor academic excellence and leadership among graduate students, Alpha Chi to honor academic excellence, and Pi Alpha Alpha for public affairs and administration. She is also a nominee of Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2022 from Kamarajar Institute of Education and Research (KIER) for the outstanding performance. She does research in public policy and administration, especially in public policy analysis. Her research interests include public policy/ program management, analysis and evaluation, Decision-making in the public sector, and public and budgeting.
