Dr. Mutaz Dwairy is an Assistant Professor with joint appointments in the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Yarmouk University. He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, where his research focused on developing biomechanical models to study the behavior of growing solid tumors. His research interests include Cancer Mechanics, Computational Biology, Modeling and Simulation of Biological and Clinical Systems, and Oncological Imaging. Dr. Dwairy is committed to advancing the understanding of tumor growth and improving the application of these models in medical imaging.

Dr. Dwairy also serves as a Guest Editor for Biomedical Engineering and Computational Biology, contributing his expertise to academic publications and fostering research in his areas of interest.
