Prof. Refat Alfaouri, An esteemed academic in public administration, earned my PhD in Public Policy Analysis and Administration from Saint Louis University in 1990, following an MPA from the University of Southern California in 1987 and a BA in Administrative Sciences from Yarmouk University in 1983.

I served as the President of Yarmouk University from September 2015 to December 2017, and also held the position of Director General at the Arab Administrative Development Organization within the League of Arab States.

I contributed significantly to the academic community as the Dean of the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences and as a Professor of Public Administration. With a prolific publication record of 43 papers and 2 books, I participated in over 300 conferences and secured 14 grants, showcasing my commitment to advancing knowledge in my field. I'm currently serving on the editorial board of seven international journals, further emphasizing my influence in public administration and organizational analysis.
