About Me

​Prof. Amjad D. Al-Nasser is the Dean of the faculty of science at Yarmouk University. His research focus is on Generalized Maximum Entropy & Customer Satisfaction Index, Measurement Error Models, Data Envelopment Analysis, Ranked Set Sampling and Acceptance Sampling Plans. His research has appeared in the Journal of Nonparametric Statistics, Communication in Statistics: Simulation and Computation, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, Journal of Modern Applied Statistical Analysis, Journal of Applied Quantitative Methods, Statistics in Transition a New Series, Austrian Journal of Statistics, Pakistan Journal of Statistics, Asian Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Asian Journal on Quality, Total Quality Management.Dr. Al-Nasser was elected as a member of the International Statistical Institute in the Netherlands in 2010, named one of the leading scientists of the world in 2008 by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England and included in the Who's Who in Science and Engineering in 2007 in New Jersey, USA by the Marquis Whos Who.
